I have bought less this card at a local dealer for almost 100 euros, as offered here (as of 25.10.2014) I've got myself in exchange for a Zotac GTX 970 4096MB, as the Zotac card unbearable squeaked loudly. The performance is great, about a lot was said and reported, there is also at this card nothing to complain about - the service is great! All expectations in this regard be exceeded !!! Anyone have a GTX 660 or less, you should definitely switch to this card, except ..... well ... it is reported much about the squeaking of the GTX970 ... All I can now say the following: I have an extremely quiet computer, I have deliberately designed to be quiet. So quiet that you could sleep on the side without noticing anything. The MSI GTX 460 and GTX 660 MSI I had before were both silent! They fit perfectly into the design. Then I downloaded a Zotac GTX 970 (the MSI was not available) and found the squeaking so unbearably loud that I returned it. The MSI GTX 970 4096MB and whimpers !!! It is clearly audible compared to the GTX 660 !! Here, however, it is a constant and rather faint cheeping unlike the Zotac, so that you can eventually get used to it. I've installed with a friend the same card who said "there whimpers but nothing!" - But his computer is already so loud that you can hear nothing of the map. Therefore, likely to come the different reports of the volume - who has a "normal" computer, remembers nothing - who built an "extra quiet" computer, hears a buzzing noise in 3D games. In desktop mode you can hear the way nix, the buzzing only comes with 3D ...
Since I have read by any other card that they would be free from Spulenfiepen, I'll keep the MSI. The performance is great and the volume is at least tolerable. If someone puts worth on quiet environment, should perhaps wait until rectified at this corner.
Update January 2015: As you can hear in this video of the specialist press (PC Games Hardware) has the MSI GraKa Spielenfiepen. Just listen to my on. And despite newest beQuite PSU, MSI mainboard and absolute premium hardware. [...] I am beginning to believe that the comments with "I hear no buzzing" viral marketing by the manufacturer to be no RMAs to.
