Harry Dickson is not particularly known character of the general public, that said, the Sherlock Holmes author recreated by Belgian Jean Ray has its good share of fan and although the character has already more than 70 years, some authors have continued to give it life. This is the case in comics Christian Vanderhaeghe and Pascal Zanon, Pascal ZanonRichard D. Nolan and Olivier Roman or, Brice Tarvel who has written three collections of short stories with this character, published by Malpertuis and a BD in images Christophe Alves, it output in Pascal Galodé end June 2014. This is a very good thing that the characters can continue to live, especially interesting characters like Harry Dickson or Bob Morane. However, sometimes the formula proposed by the authors do not work, it is in my opinion the case with this tome 1 new adventures of Harry Dickson, The blind house. We feel that the authors are trying to maximum to make their work fit with the manner that had to stage and authors like Hergé page, or EP Jacobs. It's very understandable since Tintin, Blake and Mortimer and Harry Dickson are just like characters and a retro side may seem sympathetic to this new Harry Dickson. However, this hardly convincing. This is just a new Dickson, a Dickson 2000s, and without making it ultra-modern, it deserves a facelift. And there, it will not. The texts are made with old, with naive and easy dialogues. The designs themselves are too cartoon. The two do not go together. In scenario is dynamic and interesting besides being exciting, but the sauce does not necessarily take and it's hard to let wear. This is unfortunate because the duo has a lot of potential, but I think they are not made to work together on a story like this.
