Neutral:
+/- The appearance is a matter of opinion, I find acceptable, but for me is only the function and the appearance.
- / + Standard volume of 20 L per bag.
+/- Antitheft must eXtra -as optional accessories to buy (would for a "City" version but very convenient been if they would have been right with this)
- / + Here in the manual is nothing about the maximum load per pocket, one can only guess, I guess at 20 liters and 20 kg?
Cons:
- No fixed shelf (see my clients pictures). Here I would also only times rework.
- The closure of the bag is done by Curled of the top part (like a potato chip bag, socks or towels), and then you should somehow moving the latches for locking on the side what condition with an empty and without bicycles is quite tricky and time consuming. If the bag on the bicycle depends, that would be easier, because it is then kept up. I wanted the bags but use for shopping, and would then take to the store if you have to then tugging at the bag and press to close it, take sensitive midlife as fruit, eggs and yogurt cups damage quickly.
In pouring rain and full shopping trolley on bike racks to load the bags disabled myself and others but then too. (The rolled up state can also top among customers see images)
In addition, I had toyed with the idea of me the optional bag holder that allows to use the bag as a backpack, to buy it, but the cumbersome closure possibility doing a spanner in the works. Why such an impractical closure system was developed here, I do not understand the option of a simple fold the top half with additional snap fasteners or Velcro fasteners would have been much more comfortable. (I've seen going swimming with a bicycle so as to require an elaborate lock anybody yet) For it is also City on the pocket and in the product description, there will be no safe swimming.
- The handles are made of nylon fabric which performs a 150 mm long rubber hose Ø10mm.
If the load of the bag is a bit heavier, hauling over long distances (several floors) will be quite unpleasant. Instead of cheap rubber hose, I would have rather wished for a reasonable handle which fits comfortably in your hand. (In the price actually feasible)
- No additional seams connecting the "tarpaulin" with the side nylon fabric, here was only welded together
- Remove the screws (hopefully galvanized) are made of normal steel and blackened which begin to rust, even the rivets holding together above the locks with spring, are galvanized. Better would be consisting of inox (stainless steel) have been, then the bag would Rostlos wandered through life. However, the two springs of the locking mechanism appear to be made of stainless steel.
- The Ortlieb Imprint / Emblem looks yellow. (At least in my case) At first I thought that would light up the emblem possibly in the dark, but it was not like that. These luminescent Stickers / Patches / Emblems etc. have pretty much the same color.

Since it is too uncomfortable for me easily and quickly to close the pocket, it goes back again, and I will look for something else.
I spend my pocket anyway 2 stars because the developers have apparently already given some thought to how you can use the bag versatile.
Here came the handling of the case, which should be so designed for the bike and the "City", then too short.
The seaworthiness of the bag was placed in my opinion in the development apparently in the foreground and is for the "City" then something too much.

Update March 7, 2013:
I have now for the Ortlieb 'Bike-Packer Classic "decided, as these bags has a faster shutter chance (even better than expected). In front one can close the bags and seal by means of two snaps, under the hinged lid is the case with a handle draw cord laced (like a gym bag or backpack Bundeswehr). Very convenient and fast, there is also the possibility here as well as a backpack or shoulder bag the bag to use. Strap for the latter variant is when buying even included.
However, the price falls from considerably higher and (unfortunately not currently on Amazon, so I buy it elsewhere) suggests with 120 street price to book. I think the higher price is the good quality and the QL1 system but all worth it. Moreover Gives Ortlieb a five year warranty from date of purchase. Add to this that it is a product that is currently in Germany is produced what the market D. and benefits the environment.
Off-Topic:
Somehow it has Ortlieb not really with the product baptism the names chosen are quite confusing. The "Sport-Packer Classic" is pretty much structured as the "Bike Packer Classic", only smaller. Why Oertlieb so plays with the name is a mystery to me.
