Underpowered bass

Property me the HT-E4500 ordered me since the previous reviews, the price and the beautiful small surround speakers have convinced. In addition, I have a Samsung TV and wanted to stay with the same brand.

The first impression of the system leaves nothing to be desired. Good workmanship, stable Konsstruktion (especially nice: the boxes are barred and not just covered with thin fabric).

However, already falls on the first tests that the subwoofer does not pay that what was hoped for and promised. So change settings ... rev ... DSP subwoofer on Powerbass ... still not as they had hoped ...

Have then ordered my LG BH6620S ... Almost identical specifications, but unfortunately larger surround speakers and no bars on the boxes ...
In direct comparison, the LG system, the Samsung preislicg equivalent system but by inches ... The sound is much fuller and the subwoofer has more pressure.

A test with two scenes of the movie Hurt Locker shows again clear that the LG sounds better investment ...

Conclusion:
The HT-E4500 is beautifully finished and has to be also a nice sound, but the subwoofer does not make that what one expects from such a system ...
In this price range I would personally advise against the Samsung system and look around for something comparable (eg the LG BH6620S) ...
