Unexpectedly good rock / pop cracker!

Was the debut album of Ashley Tisdale, the most likely to be known from the "High School Musical" movies probably, have been a nice but rather average pop record, so the listener with this second album "Guilty Pleasure" is produced with perfect , catchy Pop / Rock surprised.
Tisdale itself has a good, clear voice with recognizable, their potential and fully comes into its own on this album. Another surprise is ideal, you should take a look at the individual song credits: Some of the 14 tracks Ashley has even co-wrote themselves what in their genre but - these days at least - (unfortunately) has become quite rare.
The songs themselves are largely expressive and act mostly on the theme of love, but this is no problem.
After repeated listening through me especially following songs have remained especially in the ear:
- Acting Out: Really good rock song with great intro & extremely good bridge.
- It's Alright, It's OK: the first single, which is probably the most known, is a crisp pop rock song with a catchy chorus.
- Masquerade: One of the absolute Hilights the album with good text, rocking verses and lots of pace.
- Hot Mess: To me, the secret favorite song on the album, with great, slightly distorted guitar that has a retro-felling and sing-along choruses. Class!
- How do you love someone: a very serious song that tells a story and puts in all their emotions in the Ashley. And you can hear that!
- Erase and Rewind: class pop song with a light rock touch, which makes you feel good and perfect to sing along is!
- Me Without You: A wonderful ballad with a distinct hardness impact has cooperated from the half of the song in the text Ashley himself.

Overall, "Guilty Pleasure" an absolutely convincing rock-pop disc on which there is almost nothing to complain about, and also still a big surprise. Recommended!
