As Platinum, which I have received, not just quiet (and my desktop to resonances stimulates), I have checked with the software HDDScan (found for example in Heise Download) today 3.3 and realized to my chagrin, also a Seagate Barracuda ST3000DM001 is installed with firmware CC4B. Platinum tries to disguise this true and makes them available in the Windows Device Manager as Platinum HousingMyDrive there - but this certainly made me suspicious, because Platinum produces no hard drives.

Sorry Amazon - unfortunately comes back - the risk of data loss is too high for me - as well as three-year warranty useless.
