It was clear that the difference in price to a quality ball head had to come from somewhere. And so, unfortunately, too many points stood for half a year now as poor out:
- The locking screw for the rotation function is defective despite a moderate use. Meanwhile I carry in addition to the equipment with another forceps, so that I can turn the screw.
- In particular, the portrait, the camera hangs permanently down. Since I mainly do landscape photography with the head that is very annoying, and the water level to the hot shoe does not help much when correct setting
- The same applies to all other positions (other than the defective Schrabe for the rotation): When tightening the fixing screws of the ball head moves to something so dasss you possibly have to correct here several times..
Conclusion:
I'll replace the head soon and would rather pay twice. Who is really looking for a high-quality ball head should invest liebr a few euros more. But if you first of all looking for a really cheap option, and can get along with the above-mentioned problems, can find quite a good interim solution. As much more I can Bilora Pro however not call.
