The predecessor of this switch was with me for several years in operation and worked quite well, but the programming was annoying and totally impractical. Therefore I bought this successor-timer in the hope that after years as something innovative is developed - unfortunately non-existent.
Programming directly on the unit has well have become even worse than it already was with its predecessor. Also I do not have the display lighting and especially I lack the ability to power through a power supply etc. to handle, then the backlight would certainly have been no problem.
Unfortunately, this second generation of FS20 timer is not controlled by clock so that you have the correct time from time to time.
