Update: The very nice seller (shutterbug, Ludwigsburg) had kindly sent me a replacement flash because I was hoping to have received a "Monday Blitz". Unfortunately, it was also used for the second flash to these symptoms.
We then sent back to our costs with a heavy heart, both flashes. The seller I can highly recommend the flash unfortunately only conditionally!
Scheibar implemented Sigma Sony flash protocol only unzureichen in the software.
Without wishing to construct because something, but I know of some Sigma lenses on the Minolta also from experience. (Our D800si, D7 and the lightweight D5)

I wanted to buy myself a third flash for my Sony cameras. Besides Metz 48 AF-1 digital and Minolta 5400 HSS (modified).
The lens was a CZ1680. The cameras were an A100, an A350 and an A580.
It should be used once as a slave and sometimes as a direct lightning for large light output (groups / architecture) in difficult lighting conditions.
I have now used it in various situations and stehts compared with the other two flashes. The bag was quite full of all Equippment, but I would indeed have relatively level playing field.
So to use Conclusion:
It is precisely in the TTL control as the Minolta 5400 HSS, but far "inaccurate" as the Metz.
Especially in situations where some lighter objects in front of the actual motive. Here, the Bitz measures apparently primarily only the foreground and not the anfokussierte object.
Sometimes, however, he has more underexposure even with reflective, smooth surfaces. This happened, for example. while scanning a small group in front of a shelf with books and a metal monument. A photocopy with "reflective stripes" (firefighters, emergency personnel of the DRC) is purely impossible, even with manual setting of the flash. Even with EBV there is nothing left to save, without to deface the image
Good results it brings (though sometimes slightly underexposed) with matt surfaces and not to large reflecting differences. In a white wedding dress, "disappears" the structure of dunkelen groom (suit) unfortunately almost completely. Only with EBV can be as still save details.
But rather underexposed, overexposed as too high. Since you "disappeared" from the over-exposed areas can save anything Significant.
The "recharge" is a little unreasonable as opposed to Metz. Continuous shooting is therefore (really) impossible without "blacken" the images. It looks as if you "abnegert" the images.
Although the single-frame Flash output level is very high, the recharging but must give more priority. However, the lightning seems to have relatively enough energy reserves to "fill flash" for 2-3 flashes. But this is only limited einsetztbar.
We will send it back and hope that it was a "copy Monday" if necessary.
For the "Ottonormalfotografierer" the result still seems to lie in the tolerance range. But this is for me so not feasible at semiproffessioneller use. I can not invest in the post so much time, then I miss again with other things.
