I had actually already decided for the wired headphones Audio-Technica ATH-M50. But wanted to try if was harmed in the wireless something again. In recent years, I have always been disappointed by the performance of the wireless headphones. Due to the fairly good reviews and reviews on the net I ordered yet the Sennheiser RS 180. The cordless freedom of course, has advantages. And after the first try I was quite pleased with the sound. Brilliant sound, moderate but rich bass, drawn through the middle and almost crystal clear highs. Pink Floyd, Kate Bush and various classical music pieces were played back properly. So far so good. I was on the verge of sending the Audio-Technica back. But then, unfortunately, came the disillusionment. Namely the harder pace music of Rammstein, AC / DC and Nickelback. Here the RS 180, the Bass Drum choked already at medium volume from such that was barely audible. Quite bad it was then when I turned up properly (which was still considerably quieter than the ATH-M50). Now the bass and drum-tips were rigorously cut and acknowledged with a sharp crack. That made listening virtually impossible. What Sennheiser has thereby only thought. Thus, this headset is for Hard Rock wholly inappropriate and definitely not useful for me. He is quite well suited for other music I give at least 2 stars. And once again, was it nothing with the wireless freedom. Too Bad.
