It looks chic, but when I took a closer look at the book, I was somewhat disappointed. Much of the information is superficial or even superfluous, while the really important information is missing. Appearances can be so.
Much of the content makes up the description of the main quests, but where you can not go far wrong because the linear gameplay and slight difficulty. "The Stick of Truth" is not a game where you get lost or have to solve difficult puzzles to get ahead. That the mere description of the tasks that you indeed just can read the game so much space is given, therefore, not necessarily made me happy. For a very important aspect is completely missing: What items and achievements you can miss? This is the point where it gets really difficult and you can not be successful without a guide. Tips on this topic here but unfortunately missing. In the villages you will find lists although there with hidden objects, yet the guide falls for 100% -Jäger disappointing to useless. Only 6 pages? They should have it better without another.
Who anyway ago not to play at 100%, for the Guide is a nice reference book with lots of pictures and the matching Southpark atmosphere. However, one should not overestimate its benefits. What he reveals a, you get mostly out itself, since the difficulty of the game is as I said not very high.
PS I have created its own "100% Guide" as a complement to the Game Guide and posted on my South Park fan Planearium.de, free of charge. Perhaps that is useful for you if you have bought the book and missing this information.
