I have the part jetz for two weeks and and wonder still if it would not have been better if I had the equipment sent back the same. The device is very good in itself. Image quality, service, the possibility via USB zuzugreifen..alles fine. However advertised in the product description with features that may well not be true for the majority of the customers. I am one of the most wide-spread consumer circuit, which receives its television program exclusively via satellite. After nightlong, unsuccessful attempts to receive the GUIDE Plus + data and the reading countless internet forums on this subject I have come to the realization that not going with DVB-S. Then a zusätzlcihe analog satellite receiver I could download the data. I can now view the GUIDE Plus + data ... more unfortunately not. GUIDE Plus + is only possible via the internal tuner, which I like most other users do not use, since with me no terrestrial transmitter is to be received. The Fa. Philips has confirmed this to me with many boilerplate speech bubbles to my inquiries. What remains for me is just the normal manual timer programming, but is the exceptionally complicated in this unit. Provided is indeed the certainly very basic GUIDE Plus + programming (because it works ....). I am taken in by an advertising message, which is simply not true. Neither in the product description in the manual yet exstiert an indication of the limited GUIDE Plus + function. I had the part probably will return but better. I keep it because the quality is otherwise good. By Philips I feel, in any case quite verschaukelt because of misinformation and the lapidary speech.
