After my beloved Smooth Down was taken off the market, I bought Smooth Lock because it was offered by Redken to succeed with improved recipe. So buy, open and turn smelled --- --- uaaah Where Smooth Down smelled wonderfully fresh, here the smell is rather musty and a little paste-like. But well, as long as the care is right, up with the stuff. So wash hair, matching conditioner on it and then made to the blow dry. Thanks to the thermo-activated polymers, the hair should be so fine style with hair dryer, flat iron etc. Unfortunately, my hair felt only more stiff than soft. With a little hair oil we went though. Perhaps my hair had to first get used to it. And then off we went: Extremely oily hair, itchy scalp, Krüstchen at the back and then in strands, finally, hair loss during washing. The last time I had something as I used years ago Brilliant Bruennette from John Frieda. And that's well known, assessed at Foundation Ökotest deficient. That's it. So I would imagine the Smooth Lock works with the hammer silicone leg. The super great improved recipe was in my eyes the biggest crap could happen. First had all the dirt with cleaning shampoo out of my hair and get the head. Thank God I have thick hair, because of the loss falls not so much on. Tests currently the Diamond Oil series without silicone and scalp regenerates slowly. Conclusion: NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN SMOOTH LOCK!
