Logitech mice were once the first choice if you are looking for a high-quality mouse.
Unfortunately, this has changed significantly in recent years.
I had to procure three new PCs mice. Due to the good experiences there were Logitech mice.
The models M100, RX250 and BT ??? (Unfortunately, the label at this point scratched)
These mice were purchased in the last 2 years, the M100 and RX250 in June 2012, are exactly 1 year old.
All Logitech mice are out of the price range for the 6 -12 Euros. All three mice are at 1 year using failed with the same error.
After only 12 months, all three Logitech mice had (all three USB) cable breaks directly at the point where they exit from the mouse out.
Once the mice are moved off the sporadically because of this loose contact and work with the mouse is very difficult if not impossible.
All three mice were located on three different PCs / laptops and were used by 3 different people.
This makes a failure rate after only 12 months of 100%
If I were malicious, I'd Logitech insinuate incorporate so-called break points in their mice that limit their durability about 1 year. For printer manufacturers various magazines have already proven business model properly.
I am very disappointed. For 15 years I've used Logitech mice. This held on average about 5 years without any problems.
But after this negative experience with the same 3 different USB mice Logitech from the same price segment, I will in future refrain Logitech products to purchase.
But now I have a problem. I can start with 25 keys and ultrasound afterburner nothing with this Razor, super duper Higspeed gamer mice.
The are not ergonomically in my hand yet they do what I want. Continuously clicking on any buttons or accidentally gets a thumb cramp.
The cheap Logitech clones that mimic halfway the form of classical mouse are, unfortunately, often of such poor quality that they are already apart when one looks at the plain wrong. Squeaky and creaking Low to plastic housing, jerky pointer, I can better carve my own wooden mouse.
All the companies like Ultra, Trust, Logilink, Digitus, Hama and all other China cheap imports, so that you find in the supermarket between canned soup and pad fall because of their poor quality ever gone. (My father swears by these mice 2.50 Euro)
I can and found to reasonably functioning are good nothing to try this toy.
After including Logitech has now apparently adapted this cheap quality, it now falls to me very difficult to procure adequate replacement.
An Internet search confirmed to me, unfortunately, the Logitech mice with pure USB connection no longer have the quality as the previous PS / 2 Logitech mice such as the S96.
If someone has the same problem as me, and has already found out which mouse is made with USB cable in the quality and classic design, like the earlier Logitech mice, I would smooth yet pleased me a second hole at a certain point, if he / she could help me there /.
At the conclusion remains for me to say, great mouse runs, great, but only about 12 months, then you have to buy a new one.
Because of this limited shelf life, I can only be awarded one star.
I expect namely of branded products a minimum of 2 years usability. Otherwise falls with me through the product below.
