That the thermometer only a 2-degree scale has already made me suspicious. I wanted to know more so. (Had in the pet store itself in use) Said and done, buy a digital thermometer of jewel.
Although larger, but at least read accurately by the digital display I thought. And for my shrimp, I wanted to know that already.
Said and done: The part put beside the Denerle thermometer. And? About 1 degree difference! And after 1 hour !!
Okay, perhaps this is indeed jewel wrong. So thermometer of gem out and compared with 2 other digital thermometers the room temperature. After a longer adjustment time (about 1-2 hours). Showed all 3 thermometer almost the same value:
Thermometer 1: 23.1 ° C
Thermometer 2: 23.3 ° C
Jewel: 23.1 ° C
So only a maximum difference of 0.2 ° C.
And now again compared to the water and with Dennerle:
Dennerle: 24 ° C
Jewel: 22.7 ° C
This is a no longer tolerable difference to me. Especially when it therefore comes to a rather small biotope and possibly sensitive shrimp or fish to Nano-basin.
For me, this thermometer that in Denkerle complete set here is not to use. Wen this tolerance not mind, it should use quiet.
Update:
By changing the water, the water has cooled slightly ..
Dennerle: 24 ° C
Jewel: 22.1 ° C
One sees the Dennerle-Thermoter is quite unimpressed by the temperature change ... that it responds well too slow
PS:
I have a lot of products from Dennerle and am thrilled here Dennerle has built clearly crap ...
Update:
My temperature varies from 22 to 23.5 ° C, the "Dennerle thermometer" is all the time at 24 ° C. For me, this is too vague. Did it give away ...
