I'm actually not a fan of adventure games. The screen pixel by pixel for clues scan, or oblique "use it with that" puzzles are not my thing. Crimes & Punishment I had to as genuine Holmes fan but even look at, especially since I could buy it from an online store at a reasonable price. In short, I have played it directly on a weekend. Each case has inspired me, the puzzles were logical, the user interface fairly. For example, one always displayed whether you have all the clues found at a place, or rather should look even further. The division of the game scale in various short episodes I found very nice, so we had every day a fresh case, and had not again until "empathize" in the story of yesterday. English as a voice acting is fine, and fits the atmosphere of the game. There are indeed German subtitles, if you have trouble understanding. I was just really disappointed once: When the game after just 12 hours of play was already over. Conclusion: class game for amateur criminologists, but unfortunately quite short for a full-price title. Therefore a star deduction, because the replay value is zero, and for the game would either slightly longer or be more favorable. But the latter is safely over time.
