This makes the product at a good tool to determine ring sizes and make rings in the desired size. To harden the ring at the end with the hammer, this product is unfortunately not suitable, even if it has sufficient hardness to be adjusted for small dents and to give the final shape.
As a little extra will be settled by the dealer a piece of aluminum wire that should be sufficient to produce a first ring (as I currently work only with copper, I have no use for it found).
