We are from a normal stair gate, which had to be fitted with 2 extensions due to the width of the staircase leaving, switched to the Lascal Rollo. When grating the passage was simply quite narrow and extremely difficult for me passierbar- heavily pregnant and with laundry basket by the two extensions. Lack of alternatives, we chose the Lascal blind despite the insane price decisiveness ok by the second Bambino we are now also in use for some time.
Based on local conditions warrant it was not possible for the blind to be mounted exactly according to instructions (house of the 60 years- round staircase with round handrail and door frame close to the top level) -
Nevertheless, I think it is very safe because it letztlich- at least for us already closed HAT some Abhaltefunktion and my children could never completely unattended herumturnen to the blind. A Füßlein or arms could already under the shade slip through time but not really pinched werden- but no child falls down the stairs. We use it primarily at night, so that our "Big" (2 1/2) not with sleep at night tumbles down the stairs, but also during the day if I'm even on the first floor in the bathroom and the little (3/4 year) anywhere afterwards want.
Unfortunately for us the lock rotation function in the meantime (approx half a year) is defective, so that the blind sometimes not verriegelt- super dangerous because you do not always controlled.
