The lens case is robust and has a fairly stable outer wall. The inside is softly padded and sufficiently so that the lens is very well protected. The 50mm 1.4 Canon fits but on the level just below ARGEM urge inside - the lid can then be just so close, so you have to worry about damaging the lens by the pressure. When you open the zipper of the cover jumps really high, which also shows that the case for this lens is not suitable. One still has a UV (-protection) filter on the lens, it no longer fits into it. Too bad, because according to the description, it should be suitable for 50mm lenses 1.4- and apart from the size, the bag is very high, as one would expect from Lowepro.
Update: I've subsequently bought the 9cmx9cm model from Lowepro and that was just right. Optimal protection of my lens. While it has some air because the quiver but softly padded, it is still well protected.
