Because it already has not been possible to take the remote control at all in operation.
The software did not recognize the remote control. Even an attempt on another PC has not meant that the remote control could be synchronized.
Obviously, the problem is known as can be seen with reference to several reviews and internet research.

This lack of a fully functional unusable items.
Very sad because I find it annoying now to need 5 remotes to watch a BluRay. But with those, we go at least and it's cheaper too.
