I have from the series, the game and moving songs that I really think is great, and also the children's songs CD that I still find quite ok. So I was looking forward to the Christmas carols CD and am pretty disappointed. Most bothers me that all the songs are sung without exception extremely low, as the sing along makes a deep grumbling or if one then sings an octave higher in desperation (then of course, it is too high) no real fun. The voice of the singer sounds by far not as good as some of the play and movement songs CD, you can be heard clearly, the situation also too low and so the songs sound neither atmospheric nor cheerful, but a bit monotonous and boring. The choice of songs is not quite as successful. In principle, I think it's okay to take a little less known songs, but some of it is in unfortunate transfer from English or even one in which I thought I am now in the Musikantenstadl.
The series is aimed at smaller children but actually. My greater daughter is 2.5 years old as it begins right at the dance in the movement songs CD, it does not show in the Christmas CD the slightest emotion. Also have small children at kindergarten age bright and high voices, which, as well as their parents, you can certainly expect intonations higher by about a minor third. Then, when one or the other tone should go wrong, that does not detract from the mood certainly fun and is considerably larger than in the speaking voices Rumgebrummel location.
