Unique: Tina Turner!

About Tina Turner have to tell much, because their lives were indeed already filmed. The music is unique by its power voice with soul and heart and comparable to anyone. On this The Best of are now gathered:
"You're simply the best", the hit from the 90s. Ran up in the discos and down. A musical epoch of Turner, which I lived through as well.
"Better Be Good to Me" is very rocky and comes from the soundtrack of the "Mad Max" -Filmes where Turner also permitting.
"I Can not Stand the Rain" is one of my favorite songs from the year 1984-
"What's Love Got to Do With It" is the eponymous song from the movie about Tina Turner.
"I Do not Wanna Lose You", a beautiful ballad and love letter.
The big breakthrough had TT then with her crazy husband Ike Turner with "Nutbush City Limits". On this CD the "The 90's Version"
"What You Get Is What You See" is a uptempoLied for radio.
"Let's Stay Together" is not bad, but nice ego would be found if instead this would have songs such as the top ten hit "Two People" found its place.
"River Deep-Mountain High" is full of tremendous power in his voice.
"Steamy Windows" tells about sex and eroticism in the car.
"Typical Male", all I want is a little reaction ... :)
"We Do not Need Another Hero (Thunderdome)", the no. 1 hit of 1985 and one of my favorite songs of Turner.
"Private Dancer" was the title track of the same name album of 1984 and the big comeback of Tina Turner as a solo artist. A great album per se.
"Look Me in the Heart" is rather unspectacular. A cute pop song.
"It Takes Two" the duet with Rod Stewart. Incredibly successful.
"I Want You Near Me" ballad to dream.
"Way of the World" and "Love Thing" are then more likely the "fillers" in ner Best of.
At this point, the duet with David Bowie or Bryan Adams would have been well placed. All in all but one of the best Best of`s out there so.
