during operation developed the 2 months old unit a nearly unbearable noise, the compressor "chirps" just past the Lätmbelästigung and is apparently even louder. ME completely unsuitable as a freestanding model in an open kitchen.
The predecessor of this one has unfortunately given up the ghost after 9 years, but was completely unobtrusive, so actually the decision to his successor.
