Unobtrusive antivirus

Apart from the fact that I do not want to adjust the Ernst case of infection with viruses or malware, as on a production system (Windows 8.1 64-bit) and not on a pure test system, I am extremely pleased with the antivirus program F-Secure. I have as an end user now simply once assume that the virus protection is working reasonably well and even when compared with other antivirus does not significantly poorer filter performance, because as I said the virus scanner F-Secure used on a running system and therefore the effectiveness of the direct test compared to other programs can not comprehend fully. But I can not fault notice and the computer is protected definitely against the common threats. And the virus database is updated regularly and remains up to date.

The installation is very simple and well described. Install and register the product key yet to get the latest updates for a full year and unlock all features of the software. After a first scan after installation, the system is immediately checked for existing viruses and malicious programs.

The user interface is organized beautifully uncluttered and declared almost without saying. In addition to the permanent protection can be selective and intensive scan disks and files. The basic settings are preconfigured excellent in my opinion already, a change should take place only when you know what you're doing.

The biggest selling point, however, in comparison with other virus scanners used, is located on the unobtrusive system utilization, because the program works in the background and strong the system does not slow appreciably. Here I have been able to collect very different experiences with other virus scanners over the years. You do not have to wait an additional few seconds when opening files or programs, the execution runs in the background with swiftly.

As a pure antivirus software I would recommend F-Secure. The price is definitely true for job performance (here an annual license for three computers / installations).
