However, this book is not sufficient to make a complete review of historiography. It will enrich the reading of impressive synthesis "What do I know? Historiography" of Offenstadt for a first approach, or by consulting Delacroix, Flat cut and Garcia, "the historical currents in France," for a more imposing approach.
I recommend students the reading cards composition combining these works, for better efficiency. Second advantage of this method, consultation of this dictionary loses its forbidding aspect.
