Dimming works fine. However, the device an unpleasant whistling sound produced depends on the setting (like it partially on the PSU is the case).
Since I had it lying on the desk in front of me, me the noise has disturbed so that I have the dimmer now returned. Too bad, otherwise I found the portion very practical.
