I reformats (and lose all my data) and then tries to rewrite data in the key. This heats and again is no longer recognized by Windows ... So unusable.
Transcend offers "JetFlash Online Recovery" Recovery utility that proved unable to recover my data (systematic error goes to 90% of the recovery process via a USB2 port and 10% of the recovery process through a port USB3 !)
I had tried this Transcend key after meeting a similar problem with a USB 3.0 Key Corsair Voyager 32GB which everyone complains, I encounter the same problem.
Any takers? Save every day the contents of your key and do not rely on it as a reliable storage medium! The most fun is that Transcend offers TranscendElite.exe utility to use the key as a backup medium, I would not risk myself!
Another point: ridiculously low write speed for USB 3.0. Initially 15 MB / s and then gradually as we get the key heating ridiculous rate of 5 MB / s
Finally, positive note: the impeccable service that Amazon took me back that key. Needless to argumentative for hours when Amazon is good customer. After several galleys with yet known online shopping sites whose service is far from the top (one whose name starts with an "F") Amazon reconciled me with the mail. Booking!
