But Maiden is surprisingly back in its former strength. A very varied album with strong progressive impact (comparison with "Seventh Son of a Seventh Son" come to mind) have Harris & Co on the legs.
Dignified songs everywhere - no filler, just hit!
With "Different Worlds" as an entry song Maiden's after a long time again a real anthem of the caliber of "Run to the Hills" or "Can I Play With Madness" succeeded.
In addition, many quiet passages can be found on the album, so the album will never langeweilig. Maiden simply have to incorporate a sense of the songs by interspersed quiet moments even more atmosphere and thus more quality!
Only downside: The disappointing dumpfbackige album cover! Too bad that Maiden no longer work with Derek Riggs, who has the classic 80s as "The Number of the Beast", "Powerslave" or "Somewhere in Time" uniquely illustrated.
With a clever album art it would be a perfect album. Nonetheless, the music alone has already 5 fat points earned!
Up the Irons!
