I have tried it so far 15 years with a variety of fully automatic machine - the coffee was never as good as a coffee or espresso from a Siebträgermaschine in a pub. I drink a lot of decaffeinated coffee, and just with decaffeinated beans simply gets fully automatic no reasonable result. I have the Gastroback now for 2 days and only time I have to confirm what many speakers have said, you have to learn how to riff a good coffee or espresso with filter holder. Set the grinding degree, choosing the right filter holder (double or single wall), filling, pressure with the tamper, spending a lot of water, attach the filter holder previously empty and let hot water druchlaufen so that it warms up .... But now I have a good hinbekommen result. I just this morning a very good espresso drunk (from pre-ground powder) and then have 2 excellent decaffeinated latte, with the built-in grinder with decaffeinated beans. Just the caffeine-free version is really great. The fully automatic machines get out because only a dark colored dishwater. That's worth the effort. And the effort is of course really higher than in fully automatic. You have to pay close attention to cleanliness embarrassing, and I will just keep embarrassing the descaling and cleaning cycles. And then I hope that the little machine, which is a real eye-catcher in my little kitchen, I Provision: long joy, without me having to take dne Service of Gastroback to complete. Oh, one more thing: the built-in milk frother is good just as in the fully automatic machines. But does not bother me, I foams milk with an additional foamer on, always.
