I have "The farmer 2014" on release day 28.11. purchased through Steam. And, although I had been a very bad experience with UIG. But I'm just looking for an alternative to LS (LS because not developed) - and since one is capable of suffering. Have played until now the farmer about 15 hours. The game is fully stable, no crashes (Windows 8.1, Core i7, 8GB RAM, GeForce GTX670), which hath not yet given up with me now with the UIG-games. The graphics are very colorful, the level of detail is good, the buildings you realize the modular system, elements are repeated. That would be okay, but the graphics look very dead, since not a single person on foot is on the way and chug a few cars on the road. The map is very large, actually a plus, but the routing is so cluttered, you can not see streets on the map, there is no compass, no signs / road signs ... unfinished. Need to buy new equipment to go into town, you drive into the yard, then a window opens and ALL (not very many) tractors, devices are available in a long list hintereinanderweg - no sorting or filtering by machine possible. There are four different seasons in which then changes the color of the leaves on the trees - that's all.
