Under Windows XP, the use of a printer to the Lanport by multiple users no problem. But when I on Windows 8.1 (Support for WinXP Professional ran out and who buys today Win7) had to change and updated the USB Server for Lanport to the latest version (yes, it has been taken from an external source) print my Unfortunately printer from the second page again half and raises the blade and tried again ... and again .... again ........ Now I have an extra turn the printer back to the main computer and work through shares and must return the main computer. So there is no longer a problem with the printing.
Too bad. But now, after a year, the Lanport is 400 in the corner. And the money was in vain.
2 stars give it because it ran flawlessly under Windows XP. The software installation was not a problem under Windows XP. Under Windows 8.1, I had to install and uninstall several times. Unfortunately, the computer must also remove the boot twice ..... Why ?!
