The Tesa Gaffer Tape is very easy to tear, making reliable straight strips, which is probably due to the tissue structure inside. Unfortunately, it happens because every now and then a few threads of it come to light, but also highly dependent on the Abreißtechnik and my you can not necessarily be described as professional. It sticks on almost any surface (as usual silicone, PTFE or the like should be excluded as) and can be easily removed without residue even after weeks. I use the Gaffer also on my SLR camera and the tape trust wholeheartedly, no adhesive residue, for example in the 1000 objective to leave. And so far I can report no counterexample. In itself the right rubber-like adhesive side sticks very well and can become difficult to solve each other, so you should consider this in some situations. The surface of the adhesive tape is a very smooth, velvet-matte black, which is for example covers on my laptop very inconspicuous.
Overall, a completely satisfactory product with a fairly high price, but not particularly bother me, given the convincing properties and so I just may depart a star.
