In this way I have the endoscope successfully on a Google Nexus 7 (the "old" 2012 model, Android 4.4.2, rooted) and a Sony Xperia M dual (Android 4.2.2, no root) get up and running.
On the Google Nexus 10, however it does not work for lack of UVC driver. All sorts of attempts to get it up and running yet (flashed various kernels, UVC driver loaded as a kernel module using busybox manually via root terminal etc.) unfortunately did not lead to success.
In this constellation, the endoscope for this price a real firecracker and the use is absolutely mobile! The image quality corresponds to the description of the other reviewers here.
