After my BD-F8509S has given up the ghost 10 days ago, I once started the experiment, instead of a new unit to buy a second hand machine. At first everything looked good, equipment was probably earlier times in Austria, the station list read suggest. A resorting the channel is on the device, unfortunately, a bit awkward and so this was done on the PC. In the early days a lot on that after switching on after a short time only de sound stutters, then disappears and then comes the image with dropouts. Only after a power cycle 'captures' the device and then stays that way. I looked at this a few days and will also install the latest firmware, but it remains in this effect. So, the device goes back to Amazon.
I then started a second attempt the same, and again ordered a used machine in good condition. Yesterday arrived and what shall I say, faulty !!! Here the receiving part is broken, not a single transmitter. Because I wonder now what happened to the back runners, are the ever tested? Obviously not.
Now I have the successor appointed as new and expected future supply.
