coupled with DLINK usb hub it allowed me to plug my external HDD on my usb3 BR player salon. before I had frequent loss of signal between the output of the player on the projector. it seems like it could be from the BR laconnexion USB drive, can be a bit low-voltage (or current) I first tried the only Dlink hub, fed and 220v plugs into the USB port of the BR player: unsupported hardware ... So then I bought this cable plugged into the red socket powered hub and branches black plug into the USB port of the player. and since it works without worry .... to see in time!
