No problem with pro surface 3, FULL HD quality. Very low latency (3/4 I play my games on TV for a few games is too many for a perfect playability, FPS games). Do not depend on an external wifi network. Walk to everything impeccable (video blu-ray, blu-ray 3d, mkv, streaming, etc ...)
Connected Xbox One (HDMI input) to have everything on the same chain, and it is activated continuously. Do not lose image quality or latency.

I would add the following comments, which I broadly captures beyond 5m. I live in a T3, I balance often a video on the TV for my family, and I often work in another room (Mode: EXTENDED BUREAU) without ever having to see with lag or disconnection. So, after reading some of the problems, I tested in all parts without finding problems, despite a distance of about 8m MAX + plasterboard partition.

I use pro i7 surface 3, not tested with other PC ...

For me this is the best wireless I have seen personally, compared to Chromecast htc media link.
