Many WiiU users know the problem: The gamepad keeps measly 3-4 hours and then must be wired to the store. The new "high-capacity" battery pack provides a remedy for longer "Zocksessions" and holds between 5-8 hours. The new battery can be easily and quickly installed in the WiiU gamepad. The installation took me about 2 minutes to complete. A mini screwdriver for opening and reclosing of the plastic cover on the back is included. Also worth noting is that the new battery is proportioned approximately twice as large as the original built battery. However, it weighs more and thereby also the gamepad is noticeably heavier. However, it remains within acceptable limits. The required 30 euros are obviously inappropriate, if one uses a comparison with high-quality batteries, such as Sanyo eneloop. These can be had for under 10 euros and do wonderful their service in my Xbox360 controllers. Basically Nintendo should have this block battery from the outset, but then you would not have so can also cash in.
