Update:
- Here, too, makes the problem with the "black spot" unpleasantly noticeable. Once it "too light" is for the sensor, it gets pitch black. On the software side any updates available. That's too bad.
- One can read through diverse (and very detailed) test reports and the Internet. So my experience after 2 long shoot in short form:
- Heavy equipment, for robust, recommended Rig. Is very warm, the fan is still not at all so loud Nervi, such as with RED cameras.
- Battery lasts for moderate to heavy use (4K recording and playback in camera) and no longer than 1 hour, there is no charge indicator also here when the camera and AC adapter to charge off
- Display in sunlight absolutely useless! Viewfinder use (Attention, only SDI or SDI just use to HDMI converter - OR via Thunderbolt per Ultrascope) Cover or display with sweater (as before ...), touch screen for reliable and sharp
- Picture quality fantastic! Since the chip ASA800 Nativ is more dynamic by appropriate ND filter.
- No rolling shutter! No Moire! Full HD image corresponding brilliant! Corrections in Post a blessing.
- Space requirements enormously! 240GB SSD (Kingston HyperX) is enough for about 35 minutes in the film ProRes profile. Dubbing the data only with external dock possible, not on camera!
- EF Mount ideal for large lens-diversity, no game, no wobbling, nice attention!
It is just a "cine camera", no Hau-top-to-Run-camera (Run and Gun), you have to or should each shot have placed in your head rightly.
I'm already looking forward to more spins and applications with the camera!
