I've been looking for an inexpensive solution for the simultaneous use of flash and remote triggering on a tripod. This part has more than met my expectations. Robust construction, fine adjustment screws on and good, simple and secure fixation (for heavier cameras) on the tripod alone are compelling. The rubber coating and screw ensures a tight fit. In conjunction with a second rail has a fully functional cross slide for very accurate settings and focus, all at a very reasonable price. Through the two flash shoes at the edges (also removable) are additional flashes, remote releases and other accessories can be assembled permanently. A real buy recommendation!
