Useless 43

The camera is useless for the purpose of a monitoring alarm. I am out on the network and operates in the IT sector.
Now to the camera:
But 1. Initial actually easy, then the adventure begins. The other configuration is only accessible via advanced features. The corresponding app as a lite version is not suitable for this (restricted the purchase app is better). On a Windows machine, only the Internet Explorer was to call other functions with a specific Java plug-able. Unfortunately there were problems there, because only a 64-bit version is fully functional. This I then hammer out on an Apple notebook.
2. mail alerts: Not all mail provider run on the system. . Outlook.de eg worked per each message only once; Photos were not transferred.
3. After a total of 10 !!! Try and configure the system hour then ran with two cameras over the network with monitoring by the Android app. As far as a glimmer of hope.
4. Then the misery began. The sound recognition I had to turn off or adjust the sensitivity of a jet plane flying by. The motion detection reported in one night 139 alarms. Of these, only 4 were through on and off of lights via a timer explainable. The review of the remaining alarms could not be explained. The delimitation of the monitoring areas on a perceived stamp size brought no improvement. Therefore, including deactivation of motion monitoring. Thus, only remained a monitoring by calling the live image. For this is good for the camera (and the night screen).
Conclusion: Anyone wanting to use the camera as an alarm system with image monitoring, finds an unusable system. The camera is in my opinion only useful for live monitoring. But who needs it so already?
