Useless with more than one device

We own and use three of these devices. The firmware was simply useless from the start, the unit took leave regularly from the WiFi and the WiFi connection drops constantly from, especially if you want to use multiple speakers simultaneously. Despite one of the best router on the market, our WLAN can loose four houses received more do not make the SoundAvia to hold a music streaming at low bit rate. Also exchange of routers and set up a separate 2.4GHz WLANs changed that assessment. The firmware update (Version 2012-04-15) Philips had requested awkward about support and is apparently still not published.

After fixed the update addresses the issue that the speaker just said goodbye after a few hours from the Wi-Fi and no longer were addressed: Then you had to go to the wireless speakers, off and on again, and wait 30-60 seconds, then went it again for a while.

What the firmware update, however, has not been resolved, the problem is that you can play on the AirPlay speakers no music. Mind you play the only feature of AirPlay speakers music via Wifi. Mind you, one of the devices is 5cm from the router removed, the other at least 1.5 m in line of sight without interference in the Fresnel zone. Once the second device is added to the audio output, stops the stream. After 30 seconds, then a device and the music is just on the other further adopted. Sometimes both drop out and you have to restart everything to make it work again for a few seconds to minutes.

Even after repeated contact with Philips and another beta firmware itself did not change this behavior, now Philips are easily silenced. The firmware updates are now no longer available online.
