Ring of very good quality, it is mounted with precision on the case. It allows to use the M42 on EOS boxes objectives.
Focusing is done manually with these objectives, Av or M mode on the case.
The ring does not have a chip to receive assistance in setting the focus point, which is absolutely not a problem on 50mm objectives and more.
