I built this kit my HDD to the place, sat at the formerly the DVD drive.
The HDD has given way to a faster SSD drive.

Using the supplied tool (also really good quality) was the installation and removal really easy. On YouTube, there are also some videos that show you how easy it is.

The drive casing is mostly plastic. The sheet metal lid, which is provided with a rubber ring for a secure footing, but snapped to attention in the plastic.

All in all a super kit.
