I was aware that in the UX32VD 2GB RAM 1600MHz are permanently installed with CL11. Therefore, it also had a RAM module with these specifications are, so it is running in dual channel and the permanently installed memory does not slow. Most rely in this case on the Kingston bar, because there seems to be this good many reports in connection to the UX32VD.
Unlike Kingston 8GB bar however the Crucial runs at 1.35V instead of 1.5V, which of course in an Ultrabook again energy savings out tickles and of course will not be as warm. So I opted for the Crucial memory.
Installation went well and was immediately recognized by the BIOS and on my "Intel All CPU Meter" was directly 10GB.
Conclusion:
Do not shy to take the memory from Crucial! Priced as technically this offers advantages over the bars of Kingston. Both memory run according AIDA64 with 1600MHz and CL11 in dual channel.
Can I therefore recommend it!
