I tried IP cameras! The WiFi version of it was completely failing at the infrared light that was flashing (many complaints about it on the net). But this version of Ethernet works perfectly from my garden sheds, coupled with a small PLC repeater. The Foscam interface is effective and especially the picture quality is really unmatched at this price. The choice of roofing angles to the order is a nice option. I urge all those who are like me struggled with too unstable WiFi models and brands when arranged for receipt.
