Mounted on a canon 600D, this microphone is doing its job! I did not notice the noise parasitized by the elastic medium red at the same time I did not particularly shaken. For me as an amateur that records video clips small outside / inside, the sound is excellent! I hesitated to buy the pro version for 60 more but frankly after many test, the audio quality is almost identical, only the ergonomics are improved on the pro version but it's worth not more 60th
