Versatile and light

For photographers demanding, wanting versatility (portrait, landscape, vivid, ...), high image quality and sharpness, this lens is recommended. Its interior, protected from dust and tropicalized electronics, is made of durable material, which justifies its higher weight.
All the quality of an image passes through the lens. So it makes sense to invest in priority on it before considering an upper housing.
Personally: mounted on Nikon D300s and for a very demanding use (outdoors, weather, tropical Africa).
