Starting with Happily Ever After successful mastermind Daniel Graves perfect. Immediately you can see the typical sound. Bells are ringing, and Daniels melodic, sometimes whispering voice makes one curious about what will come.
Antibody is one of three decoupled singles who could hear the fans last year. Poppy, danceable and completely harmonious sounds.
The compositions are across the board very sophisticated and smart. No song is like the other, but all the typical synth pop touch of Americans own. The first bars of Lights out remember, for example, the band Trio. When you hear it, you know why.
The album is quite different from its predecessors. The earlier pieces were often aggressive with many screams, now Daniel is singing soft, friendly, seen from another angle. Although I find the recent works and the aggressive voice great, I must say that I much better like harmonious and trendy pieces. Yet they retain their melancholy, the dark still exists and is now packaged in the texts.
It's the whole package that makes this album already become one of my favorite albums of this year.
A little touch of the previous page gives The Dark Half. This title is also one of the three decoupled singles and inspired me even before release of the album. Here Daniel shows his screams and aggressive voice, but perfectly harmonize with the rhythmic and rousing beats. I see the people to run around in crowds on the dance floor.
Moody is the final. Depth beeps heard at the closing ballad Lovesick. Dreamy I listen to the words and feel the emotions that would give Daniel.
Conclusion: The album is top notch. The band has evolved significantly in the past three years and suggests a new direction. The album is sophisticated, incredibly creative and varied.
