Versatile Soundtrack

Like nearly all the soundtracks to the games of the Final Fantasy series is this a feast for the ears for all lovers of the genre. Nobuo Uematsu knows his composition craft, as usual, he presents here a blend of orchestalen pieces, quiet melodies, playful electronics and various adaptations. The main themes of the soundtrack and the two variations of the Chocobo theme (which can also be found in other Final Fantasy OST in getting other Arangements) develop absolute catchy with repeated listening.

Good news:. After OST Final Fantasy 7 8 No sound technically already a lot further (this should be no abuse of FF 7), can be found here much less MIDI sounds (the sound to my ears always a little video game) and more "real" orchestration. The electronic sounds are much more dynamic. Who especially liked the pieces in which classical instruments and choirs dominate, the addition is the Final Fantasy VIII Orchestral Soundtrack recommended (on this CD of orchestral sound comes again a corner fatter).

All in all, the 4 CDs this box a wide and varied range, which meets all expectations of a Final Fantasy fans. For smooth 5 Stars!
