Of these Hue Lux we have built 4 pieces in 2 ceiling lights. Since we wanted to have on the ceiling no colored lights, us was important that we can dim the lights (a dimmer in the switch has not been possible because the lamps are individually switched via a double switch), were these Hue Lux also the best alternative ,
The lamps can be so now via switch off (at "a" full power) and dimmed via app (or completely turn my app). The light is a very pleasant warm white (actually indistinguishable from a good old light bulb) and can be adjusted from 0 ... 100% dimmed continuously. A humming during dimming we could not find it.
Conclusion: if you can do without color, these lamps are an excellent alternative in Hue system.
